Recently paid US$18 for renewal of my domain name “https://renataveritashistory.com” . Charged to my MC account by word press. And not applied to my domain name. The charges were posted on my MC account February 4th, 2016. Expiry for my domain was February 12th, 2016.  Today February 13th, my domain name had changed to “https://renataveritashistory.wordpress.com”. EXPLANATION.
